Empire Sound was founded in 2008 by Marvin Elliott aka DJ Marvin, and it is a Jamaican-led organization based in Birmingham, UK. DJ Marvin began his career in 2004 and went on to compete nationally at various car clash events, successfully becoming the Car Clash Champion for three consecutive years. These wins motivated him to achieve his dream of building a world-class, competitive, professional clash brand.
In 2008, Empire Sound was birthed and became a team of four professional deejays: DJ Marvin, Doctor C, Bredda Screw, and Brando Unruly.
Award-winning Empire Sound, ‘The Sound of Greatness,’ is now a household name within the international soundclash fraternity. With a strategic, knowledgeable, and dominating stage presence as an MC & selector, DJ Marvin is simply in a league of his own when it comes to captivating audiences across the world.
Brando Unruly
Born: St. Thomas, Jamaica
Brando Unruly is a world-class master selector of the highest level. His quick-fire selecting, mixing skills, and freestyling abilities have led him to become the more dominant face of Empire Sound, guiding Empire to numerous wins throughout the UK dancehall juggling and clash circuit.
Doctor C
Born: Portmore, Jamaica
Doctor C is an excellent all-rounder and a highly entertaining MC, selector, and musical engineer.
Bredda Screw
Born: Clarendon, Jamaica
